Generally if you takea Medium then I would suggest ordering it in that size, upsizing can find the jackets are then too large.

The motorbike jackets are designed to be used for such and you will find the arms slightly longer than a normal jacket as they are designed to keep your wrists warm and come down to go in your gloves.
